The essentials - visitor information
We are open every day between 09:00 and 17:00*
*Last entry 45 minutes before closing.
Accommodation is always best booked in advance - everything else can be planned on the day, and booked at Reception.
Larger groups (10+) please contact us in advance so we can help you plan your time with us.
Learn from San something of the fascinating knowledge and culture of hunter-gatherers.
All our tours last 45 minutes and cost R275 (We think of them as 'Tapas Tours' - there's a range of tours to suit all tastes, and the more you have, the better it is!)
You can book at Reception on arrival, but it is better for large groups to book ahead.
If you prefer to experience the museum at your own pace, entry tickets and a self guide map can be bought on the day at Reception. R115.
Or spend your time outside in the veld - we have running, hiking and biking trails to suit all tastes or gentler trails around the werf.
Please note: we are a BYOB venue (bring your own bike).
We love hosting your special events.
If you're an organisation or company we will make sure that your conference or breakaway session is memorable and high impact.
If you're an individual and would like to host a special birthday or anniversary with us, get in touch, you won't regret it.

Small conferences, corporate team building & strategic breakaways
