The Darling Music Experience, a brainchild of conductor David Tidboald, composer Hendrik Hofmeyr and music enthusiast Alfred Legner, was launched in 2006 with the aim to organise small concerts in a rural setting for both lovers of classical and more popular music.
The venues for the concerts vary between pretty wine estates, Darling’s lovely old Presbyterian Church, village barns, and of course !Khwa ttu. The music, delicious local food and the well-known Darling wines play an integral role to enhance the entire experience for you, the concertgoer.
This years event was held on 9 February 2014.

....followed by the "Earthbound Lunch". The Earthbound lunch is inspired by an Argentinian menu with Churrasco. In Argentina a churrasco, a national dish, refers to a cut of beef that is sliced slightly thinner than a steak and grilled.
The event was a huge success and we would like to thank the community for their involvement. We look forward to the 2015 festival, and will keep you updated.
